    These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://rinkuretros.nl (“Website”) and any purchase you make from us. The Website is operated by Rinkuretros (“Rinkuretros”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing the Website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country of residence, to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

    3. Products and descriptions

    We sell pet products, including pet beds, harnesses, leashes, collars, apparel, toys, accessories and related goods. We make every effort to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, including images, dimensions, materials and prices. However:

    • Product images are for illustration; actual colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
    • We reserve the right to correct any errors in product descriptions, pricing or availability, and to update or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.
    • All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you and offer a replacement or a full refund.

    4. Prices and currency

    • All prices on the Website are listed in Euros (EUR / €) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
    • The price charged is the price displayed at the time you complete your order.
    • Shipping costs, where applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
    • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

    5. Orders and contract formation

    When you place an order you make an offer to purchase. We will send an order confirmation by email acknowledging that we have received your order. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a confirmation that your order has been accepted and/or dispatched. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for example where a product is out of stock, where there is an error in the price or description, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.

    6. Payment

    We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include major credit and debit cards (such as Visa and Mastercard) and other listed options. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment providers. Your order will not be processed until payment is successfully authorised. By submitting payment details you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

    7. Shipping and delivery

    Delivery times, methods and costs are described on our Shipping Policy page, which forms part of these Terms. Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery. Any free-shipping threshold or promotion applies only as described on the relevant promotional page and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

    8. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds (EU consumers)

    If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Dutch Civil Code.

    • To exercise this right, notify us by email at info@rinkuretros.nl within 14 days of delivery.
    • After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
    • Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging where possible.
    • We will refund the full amount paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
    • Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning the items.

    Certain items may be exempt from the right of withdrawal where permitted by law (for example, personalised items or sealed goods unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons once opened). Full details of how to return an item and claim a refund are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

    9. Legal guarantee of conformity

    As an EU consumer, you are entitled to goods that conform to the contract. If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under applicable consumer protection law. These statutory rights are not affected by these Terms or by any commercial guarantee we may offer.

    10. Promotions and discounts

    Promotional offers, discount codes and free-shipping thresholds are subject to their own conditions, may be limited in time or quantity, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be amended or withdrawn at any time. Any promotional thresholds and prices apply in Euros (€) as displayed at checkout.

    11. Intellectual property

    All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images and the Rinkuretros name — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written permission. Product names and trademarks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

    12. Acceptable use

    You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to introduce malicious code, or to interfere with the proper functioning of the Website. We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these Terms.

    13. Accounts

    If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

    14. Privacy

    We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

    15. Limitation of liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the Website or our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Our products are pet accessories and are intended to be used as described and under appropriate supervision; we are not responsible for misuse.

    16. Governing law and dispute resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

    17. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
